Goblin 200 Rained Out At Cayuga County And Will Be Rescheduled
Weedsport, NY – October 29, 2022 – By Gary M. Spaid, Cayuga County Fair Speedway PR
The Goblin 200 year-end Enduro was rained out on Sunday, October 28, after an early afternoon shower hit the Weedsport, NY region.
“The weatherman was calling in ‘Lake Effect Rain’, the same situation we have during the winter with snow,” stated Race Director Cory Reed. “Unfortunately, just too much rain fell to run the event safely.”
Some 50 cars were in the pit area when the rains came. A number of cars were waiting outside of the speedway property for a call to be made on the weather.
Plans are in the works to reschedule this highly successful event. Last year, 2006, the race was rained out twice and rescheduled to the Spring. Look for the time and place of the rescheduled Goblin 200 in your trade papers and on the Cayuga County Fair Speedway website.
