Ferris Mowers Sweetens Street Stock Purses At Canandaigua & Cayuga Co.

Officials at Ferris Mowers and DIRTcar Racing NorthEast announced today that the current UMP Street Stock class at both Cayuga County Fair Speedway in Weedsport, N.Y. and Canandaigua (NY) Speedway will experience an increase in its weekly feature race purse.
“Thanks to Ferris, the feature winner’s share in the UMP Street Stock division will now be $200,” stated DIRTcar NE General Manager Jack Deery. “There are also other increases throughout the entire purse, including at the back of the field.”
The UMP Street Stock division will now carry the title sponsor name of “Ferris Mowers UMP Street Stocks” at both speedways.
While these purse increases will go into effect the first weekend in May, the winner’s share will jump to $200 immediately, beginning with the second shows of the season at Canandaigua (April 28) and Cayuga County (April 29). The DIRTcar Advance Auto Parts Modified Series is brought to fans across the Northeast by several sponsors and partners, including series sponsors Advance Auto Parts, Hoosier Racing Tire and Sunoco Race Fuels. Promotional partners include AMB i.t., F.X. Caprara Car Companies and the University of Northwestern Ohio and the contingency sponsors are Bert Transmission, Bicknell Racing Products, Bilstein Shocks, Brodix Cylinder Heads, Integra Shocks, MSD Ignitions, Miller Electric Manufacturing Company and Wrisco Industries. |
