’07 DIRTcar Racing Review Rolls Into Fingerlakes Mall On March 23-25

DIRTcar NorthEast officials and management at Fingerlakes Mall in Auburn, New York have announced plans to host a special DIRTcar Racing Review the weekend of March 23-25. Recognized as one of the final pre‑season off-track events in Central New York, this auto show will feature a variety of race machines including open-wheel and full-fender entries as well as go-karts.

"This will be a great opportunity for teams to show off their new sponsors and for fans to see all the new paint schemes up close one last time before they arrive for the area openers,” said Cayuga County Fair Speedway General Manager Jack Deery, who serves in the same capacity at Canandaigua Speedway and Rolling Wheels Raceway, “Our goal is have as many different classes of cars represented as possible that race at our tracks.”  

From Modifieds to Midgets, Sportsman to Sprint Cars and anything on four wheels in between, this early spring show remains focused on the local short-track stars and their cars. Event schedule cards will be available for the area DIRT member tracks.

Race fans will also have the chance to vote for their favorite logo for each of the DIRTcar operated central New York tracks as well as place their vote for the Cayuga County Fair Speedway enduro division naming contest.

Teams interested in registering their car should contact the DIRTcar NorthEast office (315/834-6606) immediately as reservations are being taken on a first come-first served basis and display space remains extremely limited. The Fingerlakes Mall is located on Routes 5&20, just 3 minutes west of downtown Auburn. Weekend Mall hours are 10am-9pm Fri. and Sat. and 10am-6pm on Sunday.
