Cayuga County & Canandaigua Tracks Carry Kids Club Into 2022 CampaignWeedsport, NY – January 21, 2022 – By Tom Skibinski, DIRT NorthEast PR Director While entry-level driver rosters at sister tracks Cayuga County Fair Speedway and Canandaigua Speedway continue to undergo a resurgence of the youth movement in 2022, dozens more still younger race fans are registering to become exclusive members of the DIRT Kids Club at two of DIRT NorthEast’s charter tracks.
“The future of DIRT racing continues to lie in the interests of our youngest fans,” said DIRT MotorSports NE General Manager Jack Deery. “We’ve introduced a lot of fun activities to attract more kids that will hopefully keep them coming back for years to come. The roar of the cars on race day is always a thrill yet part of the entertainment value is staying involved the rest of the week. We’re focusing on giving the youngsters something new and exciting to look forward to all summer long and staying in touch over the winter months as well.”
One of the primary benefits of membership into the '07 Kids Club is the one-time fee of $20, for those 4-12 years of age, which provides free admission to regular shows at both Cayuga County Fair and Canandaigua speedways. Additional Kids Club membership perks include a custom-designed Kids Club t-shirt, personalized 2022 membership card, private ‘Kids Club Only’ meetings, weekly hosted events, drawings for bicycles, gift cards and special prizes along with a year-end pizza party for all active members.
The opening weeks of the 2022 race season have been designated as sign-up days as Cayuga County kicks off its Spring campaign on Sunday, April 1 and Canandaigua unlocks its gates on Saturday, April 14. Membership can start at any time as the minimal dues offer a great deal throughout the entire season.
