These special VIP Passes also afford tower guests the best view of the pit area located just beyond the turn four side of the main grandstand. The early-season points battle is being waged by current Advance Auto Parts Super DIRT Series standouts Gary Tomkins (4 wins) and Steve Paine (2), with fellow tour regular Vic Coffey (1) the only driver to crack the winner’s circle in seven Modified mains. While Tomkins (390 pts) remains in search of his first-ever big-block points title at the historic ‘Land of Legends’ speedplant, Paine (380 pts) is the six-time defending champion not yet ready to relinquish the coveted track crown. Todd Burley (358) and Matt Sheppard (353) run neck-n-neck on the points chart with Charlie Donk (311) joining top-five runner Coffey (329) in the 300-points club Points leader Eric Giguere remains winless in the Paine Motorsports Sportsman division, yet all top-10 finishes in seven feature events have made him the leader of the pack. Runner-up Paul Guererri is the only repeat winner with six different drivers taking checkered flags. Season-opener winner Todd Henderson ranks third ahead of Rob Bussey while 2002 DIRT Rookie of the Year Phil LaVare (1 win) and Dave Just are dead-locked for fifth-place in the standings.
